Synthesis combines 9 items of a gradeinto one (usually) higher-grade item. This compares the material cost to the expected market value of the result — so you can see when it's cheaper to just buy the next grade.

Estimate based on the median Steam price of marketable gear at each grade. A negative Netmeans the 9 materials cost more than the result is worth — you're usually better off buying the higher grade directly. Output level/rolls aren't modeled. Only grades that trade on the Steam Market are shown (low-grade gear isn't marketable).
